What is the
future of Dilijan
city park?
Fundraising has been launched for the construction of a basketball court in Dilijan
There is a large shortage of high-quality sports infrastructure in Dilijan. As part of the park renovation project and at the suggestion of the local community, it is planned to build a full-fledged and safe basketball court.

To implement it, a fundraising has been launched on the “reArmenia” platform. Every donation is a contribution to the development of Armenian sports.
Major changes will take place in the Dilijan city park. What will the park look like? We must figure out it together.

A large-scale project was launched to create a concept for the development of the city park and its surrounding areas. Along with architects and sociologists, many active residents of Dilijan took part in this project.

During the project, Dilijan residents and guests of the city discussed the tasks that the project should solve, shared stories and memories of the park, and agreed on what this place should become.

The garden of our childhood: history of the Dilijan city park

The Dilijan city park is a place that unites people. Most of the residents have fond memories from childhood - walking with the family, visiting attractions and cafes, playing billiards and table tennis.

Unfortunately, these memories are gradually being lost and it has become increasingly difficult to understand what the park used to look like, what was in it and when it was lost. On this page we want to capture some important milestones in the history of the park.
